Introducing the Model 356 LED Taillight System
utilizing Seventy-Two High Intensity LEDs for brake & tail lights.

Cu Layer Inc. is pleased to offer a High-Intensity LED tail and brake light system for Porsche 356 automobiles fitted with ‘teardrop’ shaped taillights.

Designed to be the absolute brightest rear lighting available for the 356, our Model 356 Taillight System places six dozen rearward-facing LEDs behind a pair of 356 taillights.  Our super high-intensity LEDs provide far superior lighting than the stock 5-watt tail (running light) and 18-watt brake incandescent light bulbs. 

The Model 356 Taillight System was designed to outperform LED twist-in bulbs by providing brighter brake lighting as well as employing LEDs for the tail (running) lights to increase overall visibility.

The Model 356 is designed to use the stock 356’s 6-volt system and implements electronic circuitry to ensure continuous maximum light output regardless of system voltage variations.  The Model 356 is also protected from electrical transients.

The Model 356 Taillight System circuit boards are installed in place of the stock incandescent bulbs and utilize the 356’s existing taillight lenses for a completely stock external appearance when not lit.

No permanent modification is required to your valuable 356 and it can be returned to stock quickly and easily.  Installation and removal requires only a Phillips screwdriver.

A “EURO” version with amber-colored brake LEDs is offered for those 356s using the bi-color red/amber European style taillight lenses.

I have installed one unit for comparison with the bulbs and all I can say is WOW!
Took all of about 2 minutes to install and I had no trouble fitting the unit.
